Did she say that all Dehumidifiers are inferior products?

Sometime in April 2015, I visited a Cousin of mine in New York, and during the course of our interaction, I demanded for some of the photographs she took with my Dad in California when she came for maternal leave. 8.    The power cord is about 6 feet long: Long distance cord extension, if used, should be heavy duty gauge due to line loss that could cause the motor to burn out, if not used. A standard normal extension cord will cause your motor to burn out eventually. Recommend 14 gauge external cords or lower for long runs. Normal external cords are only 16 gauges.

One intriguing part of my findings is that Frigidaire FAD704DWD Energy Star 70-pint Dehumidifier is among the best sellers’ lists on Amazon, under <Home & Kitchen> <dehumidifier and accessories>. My Cousin browsed to Amazon and purchased it. She told me she was not going to review the product till after using it for six months.

I really like this dehumidifier. This summer has been rainier than most, and we were noticing some mold/mildew forming on our finished basement walls. We chose to be proactive and purchased two of these (this one and the 50-pint model) to get rid of the humid environment. It's now like the Sahara Desert in our 2300 sq ft basement. Mold and mildew don't stand a chance. I emptied reservoirs 2-3 times a day at first. I now have to empty every 36-48 hours. Relative humidity is maintained at 40 percent. Another benefit we didn't expect is the heat generated by the units. We have central air conditioning, and the basement was uncomfortably cool in the summer. We had to close the registers way down to keep from "freezing." The dehumidifier added just enough heat to balance temperature throughout the house. Units are reasonably quiet and don't interfere with using the area for working, piano playing, listening to the TV. Reservoirs are easy to remove and empty without accidentally spilling. Carry handles feel solid and disappear when not in use. Very happy and highly recommend it.
